On June 13th, BTS celebrated their 11th debut anniversary with “2024 FESTA” held at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul.
BTS members prepared a video message to deliver letters to their fans.
Currently, V is serving in the military as part of the Special Duty Team (SDT) under the ROK II Corps.
In his letter, V shared, “My military colleagues, juniors, and seniors all support and cheer me up. They bring so many new and diverse experiences.“
He added, “I don’t mean to brag, but l even scored in the top ranking in some fields. I’m good at shooting, too! I’ve been getting a lot of praise.”

V continued, “I’ve learned a lot about Nogi Judo and Ju-Jitsu from my courageous fellow soldiers. It’s like I’m a new person! I respect my comrades and their robust build. I’m thankful just to be able to train with them, and I am working hard just to keep up! They really inspire me to work harder. I’ve gotten some bruises in the process, but l won’t push myself too hard! I just got a little too excited.”
He also mentioned, “These days, in my free time… I dance alone in a corner. I just can’t help myself. I warm myself up with dance moves so that I won’t totally lose touch.”

V shared his experience of overcoming acrophobia, “I’m no longer afraid of heights. It was a piece of cake to overcome my fears. Just kidding. I was scared out of my wits, but I eventually got over it. I’m doing well, and I hope our ARMY is safe and sound, too.”
He concluded, “I wish you all good health and carefree days ahead. Since we’re apart, we can’t help but be concerned about each other. But now we know we have nothing to worry about until we meet again. And when we reunite, let’s release all the emotions that have built up during our time apart. I so desperately want to see you and I miss you terribly.”
